Families come in all shapes and sizes. Mine was large, gregarious, supportive, and loving. The only thing that is taboo is to bring up politics as we had a diversity of opinions on that topic.
The first image above highlights that I was the first of six of Curtis and Diane Carver’s children. The picture was taken in 2019 and is a the last large family photo before my Dad died.
The second image is a typical Thanksgiving in the Carver family. My dad was the oldest of nine. 125-150 family show up and everyone brings dish. This has been occurring since I can remember and in my youth, it occurred several times a year. By the way, it took us about three hours to figure out who everyone is in this picture as you have some boyfriends and girlfriends in the image.
The third image is of our three children. Each is eclectic in their own way and we are proud of all of them.
My success is built upon this foundation of support and love. People who have known me forever. People who know all my strengths and weaknesses. People who will support me regardless of what endeavor I pursue. It is a very solid foundation for me to be me.
